Cho & Mike - Friendly Lunch
Cho was grateful for the weekend. Her father usually let her have Saturdays off and it meant a chance to relax and catch up with her friends. This Saturday she'd made plans to have lunch with Mike, her former boyfriend and current close friend. She tried not to think too much about the 'status' of their relationship; to be honest it was all very confusing and quite the mix up of emotions. She simply told herself that they were friends and that was that, at least for the time being.
Now, she stood at the counter in her kitchen, several plates of sandwich fixings before her. With a flick of her wand, the sandwiches began to assemble themselves; meat and cheese and lettuce layering itself on top of slices of bread. Just as she reached for the cabinet to pull out a bag of crisps that she knew were some of Mike's favourites, she heard a knock at the front door of her flat.
Her smile widened into a grin as she hurried through the kitchen to the living room and opened the front door. "Hello, Giraffe!" She exclaimed with a smile as she caught site of her very tall (at least to her) friend standing just outside the door.
